About the challenge
Everyday 10k Americans turn 65, and 90% of them have chronic health conditions. By 2040, 21% of the population will be 65 or older. The need for care and support is increasing, but the population of caregivers is declining. According to AARP, 87% of older adults prefer to age in place at home. There are many challenges to overcome including income disparities, transportation, access to reliable wi-fi, and tech that’s easy to use for many who aren’t tech-savvy.
Create a solution that will help older adults remain independent and safe during the 40 hour event. Your team is invited to join and compete on a chance to win a part of $2,000 in prizes!
