Eligibility
- Must be a current/active student at Bradley University. Please use your Bradley email during signup.
- Undergraduate and Graduate students are welcome! All Disciplines and majors are welcome as well!
- Must sign up with a team between 2 to 6 members. Two disciplines or Bradley schools must be reflected in each team.
- If you do not have a team, DO NOT WORRY, email the host directly and we will work on getting you placed wiht a team :)
- Participants must attend the Create-A-thon in person at Bradley University and stay onsite for the duration of the event.
- We will be capping entry at 50 students.
Project and Submission Requirements
- The final solution will belong to the team that developed the solution.
- The only goal is to have a prototype or ability to showcase your final solution. The work completed throughout the Hackathon should be clearly shown.
- It is not required that you show up with a previously developed idea.
- You are also welcome to continue working on an existing solution during this time.
- Presentations will be publicly hosted for other attendees, volunteers, and the general public.

Code of Conduct
This hackathon is an event intended for learning, collaboration, and engagement in the Bradley student community. We value everyone’s participation, and we want everyone involved to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Accordingly, all staff and participants are expected to show respect and courtesy to others throughout the event. To make clear what is expected, all staff, participants, volunteers, mentors and judges in the hackathon are required to conform to the following Code of Conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event.
Be Respectful
Be kind to others. Do not insult or put down other attendees. Behave professionally. Remember that harassment and racist, sexist, or exclusionary jokes are not appropriate for this event**.
**Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Be Open
We welcome attendees from all backgrounds. This event is about increasing the overall amount of learning, partnership, and engagement in the Bradley community. In the spirit of education and inclusiveness, understand that participants in the NEXT Hackathon come from a variety of backgrounds and vocations. Use these varying skill sets creatively and to your advantage.
Be Your Best
Do your best and believe in yourself and your team. A hackathon pushes you to create incredible things in a short amount of time. Keep in mind that your solution may not be perfect, but it will be your skills in action.
Participants violating these rules may be asked to leave the hackathon at the sole discretion of the organizers. Thank you for helping make this a welcoming, friendly place for all.
